FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
HOW TO LIGHT YOUR PILOT
 1.
Open the lower grill and locate the gas valve – it
has two knobs – one for adjusting the flame (Hi –
Lo) and another for operation of the unit
(On/Off/Pilot)
2. Under or off to the side of the knob marked
On/Off/Pilot, there will be either a white line or a
red arrow pointing to that knob. Turn the knob so
that the word Pilot is lined up with the line/arrow.

Push and hold the On/Off/Pilot knob in.
4. Press the igniter button (usually to the right of
the valve) once every 5 – 10 seconds until the pilot
lights.
5. Continue to hold the On/Off/Pilot knob in for 60
seconds.
 6.
Release the On/Off/Pilot knob. The pilot should stay
lit. Turn the knob so that the word On is lined up
with the line/arrow.
7. Your unit should now be ready to use.
